What to expect
Imagine having dedicated time to focus on each other, with someone guiding you through conversations you may not have known how to begin.
Through brief teachings, demonstrations, personal reflection, and guided exercises, Ciara will introduce you to Imago Relationship Therapy and the Imago Dialogue, a practical way of communicating that makes room for both partners’ experiences.
You’ll explore what happens beneath the surface of conflict, practice listening with curiosity and empathy, and discover ways to bring more intention, care, and joy into everyday life.
Your personal conversations are between you and your partner. You’ll share the learning experience with other couples, but sharing personal details with the larger group is optional.
No previous therapy or Imago experience is needed. This is an educational workshop, not couples therapy, and personal disclosure is not required.
Getting the Love You Want® was developed by Harville Hendrix, PhD, and Helen LaKelly Hunt, PhD, co-creators of Imago Relationship Therapy, and has been experienced by couples around the world.
Registration note: Select one registration per couple.
What’s included
A comprehensive Getting the Love You Want® workshop workbook is included, filled with reflection exercises, communication guides, relationship repair tools, and practices for nurturing connection.
It’s yours to keep and return to throughout your relationship, whether you’re navigating a difficult conversation, reconnecting after a busy season, or revisiting the dreams you’re building together.
Light refreshments are also included with this experience.
An invitation to contribute to research on Black relationships

-
You are both between 25 and 65 years old.
