The Magic Years

I first became a parent in 1969, and it’s hard to believe that my oldest child now has two of his own. Being involved in my grandchildren’s lives (six total!) cements for me the truth that we are never done learning about life and love. One of the resources I used back in the day was a wonderful book called The Magic Years, by Selma Fraiberg. My friends and I appreciated the way she explained what was going on with our kids developmentally. Last time I checked, this wonderful book is still in print and, in fact, is still used in developmental courses on the college level. I also noticed that there are several penny copies available at Amazon in the used books section. If you check it out, I’d love to know what you think.
