What am I supposed to be doing with my life?
What am I supposed to be doing with my career? How can I get there?
I don’t feel confident and find myself comparing myself to others frequently.
All my friends are in serious relationships. What’s wrong with me?
Dating is difficult in this city and I’m lonely.
Am I making a difference in the world?
Should I get my own apartment? Should I buy a condo?
How can I pay all my bills on this salary?

If you have found yourself asking these questions or having these thoughts you are not alone in experiencing what’s been called a Quarterlife Crisis. Transitioning into “real life” is not what it used to be and it’s taking longer for young adults to transition into traditional markers such as financial independence, marriage, and a secure career. This period of transition, known as one’s “quarterlife”, can be filled with frustration, disappointment, anxiety, uncertainty, and lack of meaning or purpose.

Unfortunately, while all people go through this transition, few people talk about it openly, which can create more anxiety and hopelessness.

QuarterLife+10 is a therapy and support group for unmarried female professionals in their mid-20s to mid-30s who want to explore issues related to work/career, personhood/identity, self-esteem/confidence, family, relationships, and more, in a supportive, confidential and open environment.

A Note from the Group Leader

The 1/4 Life Group is a unique therapeutic experience that brings young professional women in their 20’s and 30’s together to discuss personal topics during this transitional and often confusing period in life. My hope is that women will find healing and change through sharing and relating with other women in a similar phase in life. Please contact me with any questions!
